Dr. Micah Carter, chiropractor and owner of Family Tree Chiropractic in Oklahoma City, grew up on a farm in rural Oklahoma, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep desire to help others. His childhood was filled with outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and boating. After earning a B.S. in Secondary Education with an emphasis on natural and biological sciences, he began a teaching career. However, frequent migraines led him to seek chiropractic care, where he discovered relief through spinal adjustments. This transformative experience inspired him to pursue chiropractic as a career. Dr. Carter graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2002, finishing third in his class.
Teaching & Advanced Certifications
Dr. Carter carries his love for teaching to this day. He is constantly sharing valuable information with his patients and community. His commitment to excellence extends beyond graduation. He holds advanced certifications, including Advanced Competency in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the renowned Spine Research Institute of San Diego, CA, and Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma from the International Chiropractors Association. His continual pursuit of knowledge ensures his patients receive the most current, evidence-based care available. Dr. Carter specializes in treating a wide range of conditions, including car wrecks, herniated discs, spinal decompression, migraines, pediatric chiropractic, pregnancy care, and more. His most favorite cases are the most difficult ones, because he gets to see the greatest improvement, and joy of seeing people get their life back.
