Micah Carter DC
Dr. Micah Carter grew up on a farm in rural Oklahoma, which instilled in him a strong work ethic, and the desire to help other people. After completing his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in natural and biological sciences, Dr. Carter began his teaching career. As a student and a teacher, Dr. Carter was plagued with frequent headaches, even migraines. Not knowing any better, Dr. Carter regularly bought extra-large bottles of acetaminophen and ibuprofen just so he could function. Thankfully, Dr. Carter met a chiropractor, Dr. Case, who evaluated his spine and connected the cause of his headaches to misalignments in his neck. Skeptical, Dr. Carter decided to try Dr. Case’s recommendations. Believe it or not, it actually got rid of Dr. Carter’s headaches, which ignited a passion in him to help others. Dr. Carter enrolled at Parker College of Chiropractic less than two years later.
Dr. Carter completed his Bachelors of Science in Anatomy and his Doctorate of Chiropractic in September of 2002. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, third in his class. Graduating with honors from chiropractic school was only the beginning of his chiropractic education. Dr. Carter’s post-doctorate education is extensive, including Advanced Competency in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the prestigious Spine Research Institute of San Diego, CA. He also received the International Chiropractors Association “Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma.” Due to his passion for helping others, Dr. Carter continues to expand his knowledge and better serve his patients.
